This dark blue lab sapphire is faceted in a fantasy cut dutch marquise / elongated hexagon shape. It features a new style of fantasy cutting compared to most of my other fantasy cut stones. It is a dark blue color, with slight hints of purple.
This gem windows a little when viewed at an angle, and the fantasy cuts aren't as visible as I had planned, so I've discounted the price slightly. It's still a stunning gem to see in person, with an extremely rich color. If you like a more subtle fantasy gem this one would be a great choice!
